Ahelissa is a creature of practicality. She will frequently forgo flash for ease and efficiency. She's modest and strives to practice proper communication techniques with her friends, patrons, and even those she may not actually respect. She wears her heart on her sleeve, in such a way that it frequently betrays her true intentions. She takes most things pretty seriously, but is gregarious enough in most social circles to keep the energy fun. Due to an incident in her past, Ahelissas' scales can change color based on her moods. The colors themselves don't seem to focus on specific feelings rather than a range of emotions under a specific banner. She's noticeably completely oblivious to these changes, especially when in the heat of the moment.From Humble Beginnings:As she tells it, Ahelissa is from Limsa Lominsa. As she grew up a band of brigands attacked her home and in the course of the assault, knocked her unconscious. As she regained consciousness, she found herself in a bed in Gridania with her friends and family all gone. They told her they found her and had brought her there but the stories on where she had been located had been mixed up and the truth supposedly lost to time.
As her fame grew and she took on more and more work with the Lancer's guild of Gridania, she joined the Order of the Twin Adder and set upon a quest to travel all over Eorzea to experience as well as share in those experiences as she could. One late evening she met an old Samurai, a man long traveled with many stories and she couldn't help but feel drawn to him. In time she grew to know and even like this man, her soon to be Sensei. Her understanding of the katana was instantaneous, almost uncanny.
Now she spends her days slaving away as an adventurer and photographer, and her evenings running her very own House of Games.
